Joanna Dabrowski
JOANNA DABROWSKI, 1949- born in Gdansk, Poland. She holds an MFA from the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. ). Joanna studied theatre arts working at the Baltic State Opera, Theatre Humbug, Theatre “Ñ”, Theatre Miniature in Gdansk and the State Puppet Theatre in Olsztyn. She emigrated to Canada in 1985.

Since arriving to Toronto, Joanna has been working as a set and costume designer for theatre and film production. She worked with the Lampoon Puppet Theatre, Jewish Art Production,Toronto Sinfonietta, the Salon Of Poetry, Music And Theatre, and recently ATLAS STAGE PRODUCTIONS. She has participated in over thirty stage productions over the years.

Joanna has been involved in graphic print and design with experience in exhibition design in Canada since 1987. Featured in prestigious locations such as the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa, Toronto City Hall, Mel Lastman Square, Pickering Shopping Centre, Toronto Convention Centre, Pekao Gallery and others.

She offers tutoring in the visual arts at her own Academy of Arts at lake Wilcox in Oak Ridges.
